This web-based training course provides an overview of the expected effects and impacts of a nuclear detonation in a major U.S. city. It provides an overview of the current preplanning guidance and response strategy recommendations to maximize the preservation of life in an urban area if a nuclear detonation of this magnitude occurs. The course provides first responders, leaders, emergency planners, and support personnel with response guidance for a nuclear detonation incident, specifically guidance, such as recognition, immediate actions, response
planning damage zones, fallout/radiation hazards, and shelter and evacuation strategies. This course forms the foundation for additional courses in response operations, management, and planning.

AWR-400-W: Radiological Dispersal Device (RDD) Response Guidance; Planning for the First 100 Minutes
Course AWR-400-W, Radiological Dispersal Device (RDD) Response Guidance: Planning for the First 100 Minutes, provides the participant with a detailed overview of the five missions, (recognize, inform, initiate, map and measure, and evacuate and monitor), and the associated response tactics that make up the guidance. State, Local, Tribal, and territorial (SLTT) responders, as well as members of the whole community will learn the required actions and protective measures required to mount a successful response to an RDD incident.

MGT-335: Event Security Planning for Rural Communities
This is a two-day, 16-hour, management-level course designed to help participants understand the components used when planning for security at events conducted in small, rural, and remote communities. These modules will cover event security planning components, creating a written security plan, conducting risk assessments using the THIRA approach, information and intelligence analysis, event security logistics and staffing considerations, Incident Command and the role of the Public Information Officer, media relations, and best practices for security briefings.

PER-417: Military Ordnance Recognition for Public Safety Bomb Technicians (MOR-PSBT)
The Military Ordnance Recognition for Public Safety Bomb Technicians (MOR-PSBT) course consists of performance level classroom training and field labs designed to provide PSBT operators with the knowledge and skills required to identify the characteristics and hazards associated with military ordnance threats and how to apply safety measures to mitigate these threats to the community. The course is designed to challenge PSBT operators during facilitated classroom lectures, mentored practical hands-on ordnance identification lanes, and practical exercises based on historic military ordnance incidents. The Post-Explosion Investigations (PEI), Residential course is a performance-level course that provides emergency first responders tasked with investigating explosive crime scenes the skills required to safely and efficiently investigate the unique and hazardous events. Participants in this course are presented with methodologies to process explosive crime scenes utilizing current, standard forensic protocol (e.g., 2019 FBI Laboratory Division Handbook of Forensic Services), topics such as explosion dynamics, components of an explosive device, processing an explosive crime scene, investigative tools and techniques, and post scene processing requirements. AWR-385-W: Mobile Device Security and Privacy
This course is designed to assist individuals to better understand security and privacy issues associated with mobile devices and infrastructure; including benefits and challenges of designing, implementing, and maintaining Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Programs. Using scenarios, thought challenges and exercises as a framework, students will learn about: (a) the purpose of Enterprise Mobile Management platforms; (b) elements that make mobile networks and operating systems different; (c) mobile malware classifications and detection strategies; and (d) mobile architecture data leakage detection and prevention strategies.
